J.P. Winslow stars as Sherlock Holmes and a cast of characters in the one-man tour de force Sherlock Holmes Alone – Two servants have gone missing and Reginald Musgrave must find them. He has exhausted all his options and the local police are at their wits end. He turns to his old friend Sherlock Holmes in a final and desperate attempt to uncover the truth. But the riddle becomes more and more complicated and deepens to reveal a secret that could shake the foundations of English History. But even greater mysteries are uncovered as Holmes provides intimate details of his personal life and clues to the inner workings of his complex and enigmatic character. Winslow adapted the show from the original writings of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

J.P. Winslow first appeared as the legendary detective in Barker Street Cinema’s film adaption of Steven King’s short story The Doctor’s Case (2018) Directed by James Douglas and Produced Norm Coyne the film won acclaim on the international film festival circuit prompting Screen Rant to list the film as number five in a list of top five Steven King films which also included Stand by Me, The Shining, The Green Mile and The Shawshank Redemption. The Doctor’s Case also stars Michael Coleman (Once Upon a Time), Denise Crosby (Star Trek the Next Generation), and William B. Davis (The X Files) and features a supporting cast and crew primarily from Prince George and Wells/Barkerville.
J.P. Winslow is an Actor, Writer, Producer, and Historical Interpreter from St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada. Winslow has appeared on stage across Canada and in many independent films including a role as Sherlock Holmes in 2018’s adaption of Stephen King’s short story The Doctor’s Case (Barker Street Cinema). He appeared in the historical film Shadow Trap (Crave) in 2018. Recent stage productions include four solo, self-penned shows: 2016’s Gold, Guns & Greed (Vancouver International Fringe Festival) 2018’s Lester (Sunset Theatre), 2019’s one-man musical To Cariboo in ‘62 (Theatre Royal, Barkerville) and 2022’s Sherlock Holmes Alone. You may also know him from Barkerville’s Water Wheel Show, Theatre Royal and Early Justice Program. He teaches live performance for The Working Actor Program at Story Institute Prince George.
