The Fugitives

The Coldsnap team is thrilled to return to Knox Performance Centre this spring to welcome back the JUNO-nominated acoustic folk-roots group The Fugitives!
The Fugitives are headed by songwriters Adrian Glynn and Brendan McLeod, joined by banjo player Chris Suen (Viper Central) and violinist Carly Frey (The Coal Porters). With their first five albums they collected numerous Canadian Folk Music Awards, Western Canadian Music Awards and a Juno nomination, and have toured extensively through Canada, Europe and the UK. The band has earned a reputation for unforgettable live shows brimming with complex harmonies, infectious storytelling and top-notch musicianship. As the CBC says, they are “simply brilliant.”
In early April, the Fugitives will be presenting “Ridge”, a WW1 centred theatre show, in several communities around Northern BC. For this performance at Knox Performance Centre, the group will be performing a full-on concert featuring old favourites and songs from their new album “No Help Coming.”
Early Bird tickets are $35 (plus applicable taxes and fees) until March 9 (then they go up!) and are now available on our website at The show starts at 7:30 pm, with the doors opening 7:00pm. The Coldsnap Cantina will be open for business, serving light snacks and a variety of beverages.
Coldsnap is honoured to be hosted on the unceded ancestral lands of the Lheidli T’enneh First Nation. We thank them for their stewardship of this beautiful land.
