Celebrate fall all month long in Downtown Prince George! 🍂
This October, Downtown Prince George will be filled with fall fun, seasonal activities, local shopping, great food and plenty of reasons to explore downtown.
Fallfest will run throughout the month of October, with activities and promotions happening alongside our Sip Into Fall celebration. It’s a great time to discover local businesses, enjoy the flavours of the season and experience all that downtown has to offer.
We’re still putting the finishing touches on this year’s Fallfest plans, so stay tuned for more details, activities and ways to participate!

Get ready for some Halloween fun in Downtown Prince George! As part of Downtown Fallfest, we’re inviting families to dress up, grab their treat bags and visit participating downtown businesses for a fun, family-friendly trick-or-treat experience.
Participating businesses will welcome little ghosts, witches, superheroes and other Halloween characters with candy and treats during their chosen hours. With businesses setting their own participating times, families can explore downtown and enjoy Halloween fun throughout the day.
*Participating businesses and their trick-or-treat hours will be announced closer to Halloween, so check back for updates and start planning your downtown trick-or-treat adventure.

Downtown Prince George is helping make participation easy by providing $50 toward candy for the first 10 participating businesses and promoting participating businesses through our social media and other marketing channels.

🥕 Saturday, October 3 – Rooty’s Birthday Bash & Carrot-oke
Help celebrate Rooty’s birthday with birthday cake, balloons, fall decorations, and fun family activities, including a birthday scavenger hunt!
🎃 Saturday, October 24 – Thanksgiving Pumpkins
Get into the Thanksgiving spirit with a free pumpkin, or make a donation to the Good Food Box program. It’s a great way to celebrate the season while helping support the local community.

Join WS Community Market this October as they celebrate the fall season with two special Saturday markets!
🍂 Saturday, October 3 – Come shop local, connect with the community, and enjoy the fall market atmosphere.
🎃 Saturday, October 10 – Fall Closing Celebration – Help celebrate the final Saturday market of the season! Children can pick up a free pumpkin, and market-goers can enjoy free cookies while supplies last.

Ready for a spooky stroll through downtown?
Join Prince George Ghostly Walks for a thrilling one-hour walking tour through the haunted history of Downtown Prince George. Choose from two tour times: 7:00 PM or 8:30 PM.
Led by tour guide and host Ian Gibbs, author of five books of ghostly tales and a Ghost Walk guide for more than 15 years, the tour brings together fascinating local history, true stories and mysterious tales from Prince George’s past.
Hear the stories behind some of the city’s spooky secrets and hidden history as Ian weaves together historical facts and ghost stories, bringing the haunted side of BC’s Northern Capital to life.

Get ready for a double-header Halloween weekend at Ignite Nightclub PG, formerly The Generator!
Ignite has partnered with Downtown Prince George for a special Nelly’s Takeover Weekend on October 30 & 31, bringing two nights of live music, DJs, dancing, drinks and plenty of Halloween fun.
Friday, October 30 – Nelly’s/Country Night
Kick off the weekend with a country-themed night featuring a mechanical bull competition and live music from Bonifyed and Last Call.
Saturday, October 31 – Halloween Night
Get your costumes ready for Halloween night! Enjoy live music from Good Juju and Last Call, with a $100 cash prize for the best costume.
Both nights will feature sets from favourite local DJ DJ Dave, with drinks served by the Ignite team.
