Baby Sign Language Class @ Artspace at Books and Company
September 22 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Teaching your infant or toddler to sign is a powerful way to help them express their needs and wishes, learn the building blocks of communication, and reduce frustration and tantrums by enabling them to communicate with you more easily.
This fun class is specifically designed to teach you and your child not only how to sign many useful words, but also how to use this to help your child continue to build their verbal communication skills. We incorporate music, singing, games, and fun activities to enhance the learning experience.
The class is taught by Alice, a Speech Language Pathology Technician and Behaviour Interventionist with over a decade of experience specializing in language and literacy intervention.
Fee: $45 per adult (please contact me for family rates if more than 1 adult from the same family wishes to attend).
Please email Alice at firstname.lastname@example.org to register.
N.B. This 2-part class is specially designed for parents/caregivers and their children under 3. Siblings over 3 years of age are welcome to also participate in the classes, but must be under the direct supervision of an adult at all times.
